BroadBit is pioneering the development of new batteries using innovative sodium-based chemistries. These batteries, based on metallic sodium and other readily available compounds, do not incorporate rare earth metals in the anode, cathode, and electrolyte components. In addition, BroadBit has introduced an advanced electrolyte with improved operating specifications for Li-ion batteries and is currently working on cobalt and nickel-free cathodes for Li-ion batteries.
BroadBit has successfully created high-performance lab samples and is actively engaged in commercializing this technology for a wide range of applications, including next-generation electric vehicles, portable electronics, starters, and grid energy storage.
